- Lokhandwala Kandivali
- Lokhandwala Township comprises buildings constructed by Lokhandwala Constructions Pvt. Ltd. The Township is a self sufficient suburb within Kandivali, with the newly built Lokhandwala Foundation School in the centre of the complex. It is mainly a residential area. The population is a heterogeneous mix of Maharashtrians, Mangaloreans, Gujaratis, Bengalis, Tamilians, Malayalees and North Indians. This area is a calm and serene place with a lot of scenic beauty. It is an ideal place for all those who would like to live in a calm place within the hustle- bustle of the city.

Try out Avenue at Thakur Complex, Cascades at Thakur Village, Golden Chariot above V Mall at Thakur Village. In Lokhandwala There is a place called Spice Garden... who gives good food... but Gebees, for take out, has some excellent momos and some great stir fried vegetables along with chicken soup.... must try it out.
Yes my sis in law also loves Gebees. We order from Wanton Point - takeaway joint at Thakur Village... We regularly order Chicken Garlic Spicy Rice, Chicken Chilly Gravy and Chicken Hongkong Gravy.
There is also a place called Temptations near Kandivli Station where we order from quite often... they have delicious Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani. The Chicken Dum Biryani is also nice and so is the butter chicken with butter naans.
